Bar Mitzva in Elei Sinai Tent Camp

On 16 Tishrei, 5762, Arik Harpaz lost his daughter Liron, who was murdered in Elei Sinai while serving in the IDF.  On Erev Rosh Hashana, 5766,  Arik, an expellee of Elei Sinai now living in the Yad Mordechai tent camp, celebrated his Bar Mitzva at the age of 50.  However, "it's never too late," said R. Yosef Hartman, who lay Tefillin on him for the first time with the help of R. Yechezkel Eida.
