Chabad.info exclusive: Hagaon Hachassid R. Shalom Dov Volpa, author of many seforim, has produced a new work called "Bein Or L'choshesh". The sefer brings sichos of the Rebbe regarding the precise definition of Geulah, and negates the arguments of those who say that the State of Israel is "the first flowering of our redemption."
Rabbi Volpa initiated this project after many important Rabbanim in the religious Zionist community approached him and asked for clarification in this issue. The new book will IY"H be released before Yom Kippur.
