| Chief Rabbi of France Visits Chabad Mosdos | | |
The Kollel Lubavitch of Yerres, France was honored today by a visit from the Chief Rabbi of the France Beth Din, R. Cohen, who arrived to give his halachic opinion on a mikveh which had recently been erected. The Rav was greeted by the Rosh Kollel, R. Yakov Zarbiv, and the rav of the local Beis Knesset, R. Binyamin Levi.
During his visit, the Av Beis Din expressed his amazement at the beauty of the mikveh and the meticulousness with which it was built. After inspecting it, he himself immersed in the mikveh. Following the inspection, he visited the Yeshiva in Brunoy and met with the students and staff.
In Brunoy, local Anash held a goral to choose a delegate to fly to New York for Tishrei. The winner was R. Eliyahu Attal, shliach of the Rebbe in Brunoy.
