| New Home for Mercaz Dovrei Ivrit | | | Mercaz Dovrei Ivrit, the New York Center for Hebrew Speakers, led by R. Gavriel Avichzer, has purchased a new building in Crown Heights that will serve as a center for activities among Israelis in New York. The building will include a large shul, in which the Israelis can daven in a familiar environment while still being part of the Rebbe's neighborhood. The building will also serve as headquarters for the "shiurim by telephone" that have been ongoing for a number of years, in which temimim are paired up with Israelis who wish to learn by phone. Many farbrengens and shiurim will also be held in the new building. Chabad.info wishes Mercas Dovrei Ivrit much mazel with their new building, and may they continue to be successful in carrying out the Rebbe's shlichus, to prepare the whole world to greet Moshiach.
