As reported earlier on chabad.info, Rabbi Kirshenzaft is going from hotel to hotel, continuing his Shlichus, to encourage the people of Neve Dekalim and the other towns of Gush Katif, who find themselves without homes and without hope.
Kirshenzaft has arranged for Rabbi Tuvia Bolton and other entertainers and speakers to come to hotels and uplift the spirits of the people who were once homeowners and entrepreneurs, but who were robbed by their own government, by their own army in which they themselves serve.
Even in 'exile' the people of Gush Katif are coming to Rabbi Kirshenzaft for encouragement. But now the people of Gush Katif, who were previously independent, are also coming to him for financial assistance.
Rabbi Danny Cohen of Hevron – one of the live-in guests who stayed with the Kirshenzaft family until they were expelled – is in touch with Rabbi Kirshenzaft on a daily basis. Cohen has set up a special tax deductible fund so that resources can reach Rabbi KIrshenzaft quickly and directly.
